Hunting the Rockies Outfitters - Colorado Big Game Hunts
Welcome to Heart of the Rockies Outfitters Inc., where our goal as an outfitter is to get you - the hunter - into some of the best big game hunting Colorado has to offer.

We offer fully guided hunts only. Our guides are successful hunters themselves with many years of experience, and will work very hard for you. Our ability is measured by your success. We also have local professional taxidermists available.

We welcome all choices of weapons: pistol, rifle, archery, black powder, etc, as long as state regulations allow it.

We hunt the San Isabel and Gunnison National Forests. Also, we have BLM and private land. Horses will be used for packing game out.

We have hunted sheep and goats successfully for 25 years. We took the first largest archery goat in Colorado in 1974 and the second largest archery ram in North America in 1990, which won us the Silver Metal.
